Cannot input a price greater than 99,999 in QT ACCOUNTING

AQT-81207

Hello Team,

When we tried to input a price greater than 99,999 in QT ACCOUNTING we receive error message "An error has occurred."

Could you please check and revert what might be the reason?

In addition, we tested this in the new version of QT DEV 23 and the issue exists there as well (QT automatically tries to change the price to 99,999)!

Best regards,

    Hello Mark,

This becomes a limitation in Quantum as we have more and more market data prices which are greater than the 5 digits. Most recent example is with bonds on Argentina where the inflation is so high that the prices will always be at least 6 digits. Without these being enabled in Quantum we can't really valuate and run pnl on the position we have with those instruements

    Thanks

Still waiting for feedback from the client on the specific use case. In the meantime, the status will be set to Will not implement.
