Renegotiate Repo Deal Earlier than the Current Maturity Date

Provide the ability to early mature a Repo Transaction when selection Roll/ Renegotiate.

Currently validation prevents the Maturity Date from preceeding the exisiting Maturity Date of the Repo deal.

This is required to meet two business requirements

  1. Provide a method to support the Floating Rate repo changes as per the RBA (Australian Repo Market).
    • For Floating Rate Repos, the open market will accrue interest using the Target Cash Rate.
    • We will look to support these by allowing for the early maturity of the repo, together with a subsequent extension back to the original repo date using the new Target Cash rate.
  2. The Multi Stock Repo module uses offsetting Repo trades to record the substitution of Collateral.
    1. This does not meet cleint the clients expectations as there are offsetting Stock Flows against the Repo maturity date (and no ability to net those flows).
    2. By allowing for the early maturity of a repo deal, there would be no need for offsetting deals.
