Bulk upload of attachments to AC deals

AQT-67230 - Sandvik AB

The client raised a broad requirement of invoice handling. To fulfill that we need to be able to bulk upload attachments to existing AC deals. The AC deals are interfaced from an external system and as the volume of invoices is high we cannot go for manual attaching. Any form of automation here is crucial.

We would like to have a very similar functionality, but for Hedge Relationships, where we want to attach the Hedge Documentation to the HR.

Also, I could think of adding the actual confirmations that Quantum sends out to the respective FX/MM deals, and could use the action/API to upload attachments there as well.

    From Eric Willems:

This does have merit, but would require a few things.

    • Web API actions to

      • upload a file to a deal

      • list files attached to a deal (returns same as data source below)

      • get attached file for a deal based on name

      • delete attached file for a deal based on name

    • Data source that lists attached files for deals providing:

      • Name

      • File name

      • URL

      • Size

      • Date

This would allow invoices to be attached using a name of "Invoice" for a deal. The file can then be accessed by using the data source to lookup the actual URL for the Invoice attachment.
